::deep breath in::

February 20, 2012-my very first blog entry, the grand opening of my official website, well, Delectably Delicious’ website.. this all feels overwhelming BUT a joyous overwhelming feeling.  I am truly blessed!

Now, what perfect timing for a very first blog entry as what I’m about to share.

I’m currently in a Wilton Cake Decorating class at a local Michael’s Arts & Crafts shop.  As I’m sitting in class tonight, I receive a text from a good friend of mine, Sean M., with a link and a brief message saying, “Wow wow wow wow wow.. I tweeted my Giants cake to the Giants twitter and they posted it on their website! Congrats!” In mid demo of a gum paste Mum flower by my instructor and pure silence of a full classroom, I unknowingly shouted out, “OH MY GOD!!”  To have all heads turn in my direction with faces of confusion and annoyance of disruption, my heart had stopped but I still couldn’t help but smile and just feel extremely happy.  This might be something ordinary to some, but to ME it was so rewarding!  These moments are when I realize I’m living my dream!  Well at least working toward living my dream.  Fulfilling my passion!
